How can i join a band and start making music?

listen, i want to join a band. its my lifes goal and make it big time. but down here its nearly impossible to find a good band and theres only two really good locals bands. and the local band "hell raiser extreme" aka. HRE doesn't like me at all because the lead singers girlfriend came onto me and stuff and we ended up kissing and yah well the band doesn't like me and they made sure none of the bands like me. so yea and a couple of my friends don't like me for it and all this **** is going around and it seems like nobody likes me anymore....and being as hyperactive as i am, i can't seem to get anywhere with music because of all these heads down here. i play really good at metal music like slipknot, and i can play nickelback's ****, but like should i just go solo if everyone wants to be heads??? how will i ever break into the music industry with this kind of start?????? real answers please.
