Modern music is (mostly) terrible, who else agrees?

I was born in the early 80's, but grew up listening to lyrical genius' like Bowie and Jagger. My entire life i've noticed a steady decline in the quality of music. I mean, there is probably only 15 good bands that still exist today, the rest are commercialized, auto-tuned crap. Good music died in the 90's along with Cobain (RIP). I don't know why we don't go back to the Vietnam era style of music... CCR beats Justin Beiber anyday. Does anybody else agree?
