Why are you a liberal? How would you define liberal?

give me good solid reasons, reasons that you believe in, and stress points in a manner that is not defensive but progressive. If you want to further your answer, explain to me the strong points of your party and give me your opinion of its leaders. also list for me some of the issues that you would like to see this administration address and solve. Thank you in advance for your answers. (I would like to include that this question comes from a conservative, and that i would appreciate it if other conservatives would out of respect not bash, but rather learn from answers given) i don't want to generate negative responses from which flow a stream of pointless bickering.....
