How many years will it take for the GOP to be trusted again?

The GOP has gained the reputation of dishonesty, failure, immaturity and dishonor. They have no chance for at least 8 years. What's it going to take to repair the damage, Bush, Cheney, Foley, Rove, Cunningham and Craig have done to the GOP? The sniveling and whining of the rightwingers on these Q & As isn't helping, either.
